The Site
The Tents
Our Site and Facilities
Our tents are spread out across our hilltop site, with a ring of ancient woodland offering protection from the elements.
​
We have hot showers, flushing loos and a beautiful communal space at the heart of the site for socialising and relaxing. We've newly installed mains power to the site, which allows you to keep all your (and your children's!) electrical goods charged up, and powers the on-site fridge to ensure that bottle of prosecco remains at the perfect temperature (and your food!). We also have 3 x charcoal BBQs available to use.

There's plenty of games on site, a table tennis table, giant jenga set, badminton net and loads of sports equipment for you and your children. As well as some indoor games for when the weather isn't so nice! ​
Please note, there are NO DOGS allowed at the site.

What's inside the tents?
We have 10 fully furnished bell tents here at the Himalayas, with nearly everything you need for a relaxing holiday without the need to bring anything.
​
Each tent contains the following:

1 double and 2 single new (and much more comfortable) thick, memory-foam beds (additional beds are available for an extra £25 per night)

All bedding - pillows, duvets and bed sheets

Two small side tables
-
Magnetic torch to light up your tent

Fire pit with fire lighters and log seats (logs are available from the farm)

Cosy rugs and fluffy mats
-
Basic crockery - plates, cups, mugs, bowls and cutlery.
The Chai Tent

The Chai Tent
New for 2025!
Our wonderful campsite managers Kate and Chantal have opened the Chai Tent for our 2025 campers, located at the site entrance.
​
Serving teas, coffees, cold drinks, ice creams, delicious locally made vegan bakes and cakes, and of course Kate's famous Chai, The Chai Tent is open from 9.30-11.30 most days and in the afternoons on Saturdays.
​
The Chai Tent is also where our campers can purchase logs and charcoal to use on site, alongside our daily log runs in the early evening. We accept both cash and card on site and you can prebook your morning hot drinks with Kate if required.
Wild Swimming at the Site
The Site is set amongst a sea of reed beds and ponds, all teaming with wildlife. The Swimming Hole offers the perfect antidote to the hot summer sun, and has proved to be a popular spot at the site.
​
Grab a picnic or a glass of wine and sit back by the ponds enjoying the water and the views! The water is cleaned by the reeds and tested regularly.
​
Please note that while we have taken precautions to keep you safe, swimming is undertaken at your own risk and children MUST be supervised when in and around the water.
